Bereavement Support
Birr Parish Bereavement Support Group are hoping to hold an open evening session next Thursday 1st December between 8pm – 9.30 pm in the Parish Conference Room. We offer, a space that offers a little comfort and peace. All are welcome.
The support group is a voluntary parish based ministry. It aims to help the bereaved and grieving through the provision of a private, free and confidential service.
According to the group, although grieving in all its shapes and forms is a natural process, which can be helped by the empathy, compassion and understanding of friends, sometimes one may need support to work through it in a positive way. It can help the healing process to talk with a trained listener and to confront very strong feelings associated with grief and this is where the Birr Parish Bereavement support group can intervene if approached in the most effective way.
If you need information and emotional support following the death of a loved one. If you need any help with finding support after a bereavement, please call (089) 4670926.
