Birr Churches Together (BCT) is an ecumenical group made up of the Roman Catholic, Church of Ireland and Methodist Churches in Birr. It is built on the history of friendly relationship among these churches and hopes to strengthen these ties by engaging congregations in shared projects and activities.

It is supported by the Irish School of Ecumenics of Trinity College Dublin which has been involved with ecumenical events in Birr for the past several years.

BCT hope to become a lasting embodiment of ecumenical goodwill in Birr, connecting academics and grassroots while being an expression of the community and be an example and guide for other communities across Ireland who want to strengthen their own ecumenical relationships.
