We gratefully acknowledge the work of Supt Cashen and his colleagues locally to remedy the situation following Confirmation on 14 May and their apologies for the inconvenience caused. It has been confirmed to us that parking tickets will not be proceeded with subject to due process and we thank those concerned for their help.
Furthermore the Council have agreed to open the Civic Offices Car Park for all weekend masses and we would encourage you to avail of all spaces. 

To co-operate with An Garda Síochána, please do not park on footpaths when attending Mass. 

We understand that discussions are continuing regarding the re-alignment of Wilmer Road.  All the authorities involved will be made aware that the parking on Saturday 14 May was not a one-off incident as we continue to have large numbers attending Masses in St Brendan’s Church.
