Birr Parish acknowledge contribution of Helen Keogh, Burkes Hill for her life time of service to the the parish and the community of Birr for almost 50 years. A native of Mullingar, Helen a full time homemaker raising her family of 7 children.

Over the years she has been a Eurcharistic Minister, Reader, member of the Pastoral Council, Baptismal Team, Bereavement Support Group and Dóchas Cancer Support. She has served on school boards of management and parents councils. She has promoted the Pioneer movement at both parish and regional level.
