This summer  saw a change of Officers in the running of the Padre Pio Prayer Group. Brain Kennedy chairman of Birr Pastoral council acknowledged the outgoing officers for  their time and energy in the monthly masses. An  inscribed   frame scroll was presented to Phyllis Landy, Laura Smith, Phyllis Byrns, Maura Kerrigan, Mary Keirns.
