Eileen McCarthy, (née Doyle) 19 High Street, Birr, Co. Offaly and formerly of Abbeyleix, Co. Laois, passed away peacefully on December 10th, 2024, aged 79, in the care of The Midlands Regional Hospital, Tullamore, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband John, daughters Celine and Lorraine, sons-in-law Patrick, Paul and John and her daughter-in-law Margaret. Deeply regretted by her loving sons and daughters; Michelle, John, Wayne, Helen, Geraldine, Tracey, Caroline, Brigid and Sandra, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great -grandchildren, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives , neighbours and friends. Eileen was a lady, a wonderful mother and great friend to all who had the privilege of knowing her. May her kind and gentle soul Rest In Peace. Reposing at her home on Wednesday evening from 4pm – 7pm. Removal on Thursday morning at 10.15am. to arrive at St. Brendan’s Church, Birr at 10.45am. for Funeral Mass at 11am. followed by burial in Clonoghill Cemetery, Birr.
