The death has occurred of John Curley, Burke’s Hill, Birr, Co. Offaly, and formerly of Ballinasloe, Co. Galway – September 18th, 2023, (peacefully) in the outstanding care of Birr Community Nursing Unit, surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his beloved daughter Catriona (Cathy) and his brother Greg. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Mary, daughter Anita, son Alan, daughter-in-law Niamh, grandchildren Max and Tess, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends. May He Rest In Peace. Reposing at Boyd’s Funeral Home, Birr, on Wednesday evening from 5.30pm – 7.30pm. Removal to arrive at St. Brendan’s Church, Birr, on Thursday morning at 10.45am  for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Clonoghill Cemetery, Birr.
