John McDonnell, Woodlands Drive, Birr, Co. Offaly and formerly of Nenagh, Co. Tipperary.  Passed away on August 21st, 2024, peacefully in the attentive care of The Midlands Regional Hospital, Tullamore.  Pre-deceased by his late wife Ann, his brothers; Pat, William, Michael, Jim and Colum and sisters Mary and Margaret. Dearly loved and loving husband of Muriel, devoted father to Sarah Ann (Grant) & Marguerite (Molloy), step father to Neville, Philip, Robert and Conor and adored grandad to Anna, Stephen, Sienna, Charlie, Nina and Ava. He will be sadly missed by his mother-in-law Maura, in-laws; Stephen, Darragh, Nawal, Clair, Deirdre and Johanne, his sisters Ann and Carmel, brothers Andrew and Brian, brothers-in-law; Noel, Richard and David, sisters- in-law; Marita, Carmel and Barbara, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends. May he Rest In Peace. Reposing at Boyd’s Funeral Home, Birr, Co. Offaly (R42 YF75) on Saturday from 5pm. – 7pm. Removal on Sunday morning to arrive at St. Brendan’s Church, Birr at 11.45am . for Funeral Mass at 12 noon, followed by burial in Clonoghil Cemetery, Birr.
