Margaret Scully (née Lyons) Hillview, Fortal, Birr, Co.Offaly, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at home on April, 21st, 2024. Predeceased by her parents Patrick and Tess. She will be forever missed by her devoted husband John, her loving children; Majella, Paul, Claire, Brendan, Ann Marie, Kevin, Aidan, James and Bernadette, daughter -in-laws; Annette, Lorraine, Jean, Caroline, Raisa and son-in-law Richard, her adored grandchildren; Darragh, Emma, Katelyn, Oran, Ross, Emily, Alex, Isobel and Jack, her sisters Mary (Breslin), Chrissie (Breslin), Teresa (Bracken) and her brothers Patsy, Flannan, Matt, Noel and John. Lovingly remembered by her sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, her many good friends, her long standing carer and friend Mairead Kennedy, the carers of the IWA and Liberty Homecare. May her kind and gentle soul Rest In Peace. Reposing at Boyds Funeral Home Birr (R42YF75) on Tuesday evening from 5pm-7pm. Removal from her home on Wednesday morning to arrive at Seir Kieran’s Church, Clareen at 11.45am. for Funeral Mass at 12noon, followed by burial in Clonoghill Cemetery, Birr.
