Mickey passed peacefully in Craigavon Area Hospital on January 21st, 2024. Predeceased by his father Mikey, mother Ann, his brothers Jack, Miley, Jimmy, Tom, Paddy and Josie, his sisters Maryann, Eileen, Ally and Nanny and his children Gerard and Yvonne. Beloved husband of Nan. Cherished father of Mary, Gerard(Deceased), Yvonne (Deceased), Paddy, Shane, Linda, Kenneth and Darren. Devoted grandfather to his 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Deeply regretted by his heartbroken wife, sons, daughters, son-in-laws, daughter-in-laws, grandchildren, extended McCarthy & Delaney families, neighbours & many many friends. May His Gentle Soul Rest In Peace. Mickey will repose in Grenham’s Funeral Home, Ballinasloe (H53 HK15) on Thursday, 25th of January, from 5pm, with removal at 7pm to St. Brendan’s Church, Birr. Requiem Mass for Mickey will be celebrated on Friday at 12 noon, followed by burial in Clonoghill Cemetery, Birr.
