Phyl McDowell (née Clegg), Townsend Street, Birr, Co. Offaly and formerly of Danesfort, Kilkenny, passed away on April 12th, (peacefully), in the wonderful care of Birr Community Nursing Unit. Predeceased by her parents John and Josie and her brothers Shay and Frank. Phyl will be sadly missed by her loving husband Ken, son Mark and daughters Karen and Nicola, grandchildren and great-grandson, daughter-in-law and sons-in-law, her sister Steph (Till) and brothers; Tony, Ger, Sean and Vincent, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces and relatives and friends. May she Rest In Peace Reposing at Boyd’s Funeral Home, Birr, ( R42 YF75 ) on Saturday from 5pm to 7pm. Removal to St. Brendan’s Church, Birr, on Sunday morning, to arrive at 11.45am for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Clonoghill Cemetery, Birr.
